Events are going on all week. Tonight, author, architect and historian Alan Hess will talk and sign books at the River Oaks Bookstore, 3270 Westheimer Rd. from 4-6 p.m., followed by a screening of a documentary about the life and work of Donald Wexler, a noted architect. Hess also will sign books and talk at the screening.
On Thursday, Stephen Fox, an author and architecture historian, will deliver a lecture at the Architecture Center Houston (315 Capitol St., #120) on "Border Modern: Modern Architecture on the Texas-Mexican Border."
Another film, William Krisel, Architect, will be shown Thursday night at the Architecture Center. Hess will talk after the screening.
